What’s your background?

I studied a Bachelor of Business and majored in Human Resource Management at the University of Technology Sydney. I started my career as a Project Administrator before moving into HR and Recruitment roles within the construction and management consulting industry.

Currently as a Recruitment Resourcer, I provide support to the Regional Recruitment Manager and recruit for roles in business support, graduate roles and delivery roles such as engineers and project managers.

What makes a candidate standout to you?

A standout candidate is someone who is confident and original in the way he or she portrays themselves on their CV and how they interact or connect with me in an interview. It’s about delivering a true sense of personality and putting their best foot forward, tied in with their knowledge and professional acumen.

It makes a huge difference and provides a lasting impression when candidates are themselves and believe in what they can offer to HKA.

I genuinely enjoy working with a diverse group of people and creating friendships and transparent relationships at HKA but most importantly the opportunity to meet amazing candidates and getting to know them.

In addition, I value the work life balance. The balance I have at HKA offers me the flexibility and the independence to do my best work each day, essentially providing me a healthy lifestyle in a challenging role and within a fast-paced environment.

I love the sense of adventure and I enjoy travelling. For me, nothing beats the exhilarating feeling of doing something new and different.
