Applying to HKA

Applying to HKA is quick and simple. When you register or apply, we will ask you for basic personal and contact information, and you can also upload your CV. Initially, that is all we need; it’s that easy.

Whether you apply for a specific post or register an interest, you will be considered for all current and future opportunities within our business – worldwide, depending on the information given. You will be issued with a unique log-in to revisit the details you have given us, add additional information, review your applications and apply to new positions.

Applying through the applicant portal is the quickest way to receive a reply. As a global business responsible for multiple roles, disciplines and locations, we cannot speak initially with each person who contacts us. Those applying directly to our regional staff will also be referred to this portal.

Responding to your Application

At HKA our policy is to reply to everyone who applies or registers an interest in working within our business.

Our dedicated team of Recruitment Managers based around the world review each application with the relevant Operations Manager before providing feedback to you on the opportunity and your application.

The Recruitment Manager responsible for the opportunity will then either send a reply electronically through our applicant portal or contact you directly, requesting further information if required.

Our Interview Process

The next stage of the recruitment process is an interview with a member of the recruitment team, which can be conducted by telephone or Skype, if not face to face. We can then build a personal profile, incorporating your CV and any supporting information you provide, for our Operations Managers who will consider your application.

Supporting information may include an assessment exercise – either performed at home with a self-enforced time limit or as part of the interview process. Alternatively, we may ask applicants to provide redacted examples of work done previously to demonstrate technical capabilities..

Applicants may then be asked to attend a formal face-to-face interview with a relevant member of our Operations team.

Please note that our approach to interviews is flexible, and depends on the role, location and timescale, but this should serve as a general guideline for what to expect from our selection process. We encourage people to ask questions at any stage.

All applicants receive feedback and those who are unsuccessful have the option to be considered for future opportunities within HKA.
