We recognise that gender inequality has been historically tracked within the industries we operate. At HKA, we walk the talk and continue our efforts to push for gender equality across our business.
Our passion to continue to push for equal representation as soon as possible aligns with HKA’s passion for successful and fair outcomes.
The Equal Representation for Expert Witnesses (ERE) initiative was conceived in 2021. Its purpose is to bring and drive commitment to improve the visibility and representation of women as expert witnesses.
HKA has committed to driving change and advocating fair representation for women working as, or aspiring to become, expert witnesses.
By taking the Equal Representation for Expert Witnesses Pledge (ERE), HKA joins a global coalition who are in support of addressing the challenges faced by women as expert witnesses, with the collective aim of increasing the number of women appointed as expert witnesses in dispute resolution procedures worldwide.

According to the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, or "ICSID", women were appointed to only 3% of cases.
