2024 Houston ACFE Fraud Conference  

HKA hopes you’ll register for the 2024 Houston ACFE Fraud Conference, which will be held October 9–11 at the Norris Convention Center – City Centre.  

Presented by the Houston Area ACFE Chapter, this three-day CPE training series will provide attendees with up to 22 hours of fraud CPE. The series comprises one day of virtual pre-conference (7 CPEs on October 9) and two days of in-person conference (15 CPEs on October 10 and 11). Attendees can register for the in-person conference or just the virtual conference. 

While in Houston, be sure to make time for Director Jon Scherr’s presentation, “Ponzi Scheme Case Study: There Is Not Always a Pot of Gold at the End of the Rainbow,” on October 11 at 1:00 PM CT. His session will give participants a detailed look at Ponzi schemes with real-world case examples. 

Additional sessions focus on topics such as ethics, whistleblowers, working with law enforcement, sextortion, catfishing, fraud case studies, data analytics, federal grant fraud, and white-, red-, and grey-collar crime, among others.  

The Houston ACFE Fraud Conference, now in its 12th year, also features keynote speakers, FBI and IRS Criminal Investigations recruitment tables, corporate sponsors and resource tables, an ACFE bookstore, two tracks of speakers, networking events, and a reception.
