This three-part live webinar series outlines the unique requirements of the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS), the Davis-Bacon Act (DBA), Walsh-Healey (PCA), and the Inflation Reduction Act’s Prevailing Wage and Apprenticeship (PWA) as defined by the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and Internal Revenue Service (IRS). The series also provides industry best practices for establishing and monitoring compliance with these regulations.
Upcoming sessions include:
- Session 1: Government Contractor Compliance, Part I, focuses on the federal labor compliance regulations included within specific federal funding opportunities and provides an overview of each regulation’s requirements. This webinar session is scheduled for September 18 at 12:00 PM ET.
- Session 2: Government Contractor Compliance, Part II, focuses on the strategy associated with complying with federal labor regulations and how multiple business functions (i.e., HR, Finance, Contracts) can work together to achieve and maintain compliance. This webinar is scheduled for September 19 at 12:00 PM ET.
- Session 3: Commercial Company Compliance focuses on the prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements reflected in the IRS IRA tax credit and reviews the differences between these requirements and the Davis-Bacon and Related Acts regulation. This webinar is scheduled for September 20 at 12:00 PM ET.
