PROFILES

Rick Moffat specializes in consulting on construction projects in the areas of project risk management, scheduling, cost, and delay and disruption, as well as other project management and dispute resolution concerns.  His experience encompasses commercial, industrial, infrastructure and institutional construction projects, including fast-tracked and troubled projects.

Rick provides owner’s and contractor representation, and advises clients on issues involving process assessment and development, project administration, management, cost growth, delay issues, and claim preparation. Through his years as a project manager and expert consultant, Rick has developed an extensive knowledge of project management, scheduling and cost controls. He has prepared delay and damages reports for owners, developers, contractors, and subcontractors.

 

Niamh Ní Chróinín has experience in project management, contract management, procurement, bid management, dispute resolution, design management and mentoring junior engineers. She has 13 years of experience on heavy civil and utilities projects, infrastructure, and buildings construction and fit out.  Niamh also is highly experienced in working collaboratively with all parties throughout the life cycle of a project, and has supervised, trained and motivated project team throughout her career.

Niamh is currently a scheduling and productivity lecturer for the Osgoode School of Construction Law Certificate Program, and a guest lecturer at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). She is currently the secretary for the Prairies Society of Construction Law, the Canadian Prairies representative for the Institution of Civil Engineers (www.ice.org.uk) and a member of its Americas Committee.  She also is the ICE representative for the Canadian Prairies Group of Chartered Engineers (www.CPGCE.org).
