David Ward

David Ward is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 10 years of experience. He has assisted the named quantum expert on more than 15 occasions.

David has acted as lead assistant in arbitration, litigation, and adjudication proceedings in the UK and internationally. He has drafted technical sections of expert reports for disputes on buildings, infrastructure, energy, transport, and commercial developments.

David has experience in delivering project management services with a UK contractor. He has assisted clients in a variety of industries, including infrastructure, health, education, industrial, leisure, and high-value residential developments.

David’s expertise includes analysing dispute data and producing assessments relating to delay and disruption costs, variations, and compensation events. He specialises in strategic contractual advice and conducts detailed quantum assessments in complex disputes.

David is dual-qualified in construction law and dispute resolution, as well as commercial management and quantity surveying. He is an accredited project manager, a qualified APC assessor of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and holds an advanced professional award in expert witness evidence. David is a fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered and the Institute of Arbitrators, and a member of the Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors and the Society of Construction Law.
