Felipe is a highly-qualified construction professional with over 15 years of experience in the consulting industry. He has broad experience in project management, risk, disputes, compliance, forensic accounting and assurance services and has been responsible for expert reports for national and international arbitration on more than 15 occasions.

Felipe has delivered risk management services for major capital projects and programmes across the Americas, Africa, Australia and Europe. He has been responsible for the coordination and delivery of many multi-million-dollar construction claims advisory related services, including the analysis and quantification of additional costs, extension of time (EOT), critical path determination and liquidated damages. He also offers risk advisory and claims support services across varied sectors; including oil and gas, power, infrastructure, mining and metals, buildings, utilities and for government in both the construction and project management arenas.

Felipe provides expert services and reports for complex disputes being resolved through arbitration and dispute boards. The key disputes he worked on, that were resolved through arbitration, included the construction of projects such as oil platforms and refineries, gas distribution plants, hydroelectric power plants and associated infrastructure (e.g. tunnels), wind and thermoelectric power plants, co-generation systems, mining plants and associated infrastructure (e.g. tunnels), ports, and pipelines. His key skills also include financial and forensic audits (cost, time and scope), project controls assessment and implementation, control compliance reviews, risk and governance assessments, and PMO implementation and assessments.

Felipe has testified in different arbitration panels in Portuguese and Spanish languages, including ICC and other relevant set of rules across Latin America. His testifying experience includes being cross-examined by the tribunal arbitrators as well as the other parties and their counsel (including hot-tubbing).

Felipe regularly produces articles for Spanish, Portuguese and English language publications. For instance, more recently he contributed to two chapters of Administração Contratual e Claim: Coexistência Pacifica dos Aspectos Jurídicos e de Engenharia em Obras, PINI, 2015 on the subjects of Engineering Contracts Dispute Resolution Methods and on Experiences and Case Studies on PPP contracts claim settlements and to one chapter of CRD Comitê de Resolução de Disputas nos Contratos de Construção e Infraestrutura, PINI, 2016 on the subject of Dispute Boards: International and Latin American Experiences. Felipe also delivers seminars and training sessions for clients and internal teams on topics ranging from contract management, internal auditing and risk management to compliance and regulations.
