Paraskevas Kontogiannis is a Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 10 years of experience. He has assisted the named expert on numerous occasions.
Paraskevas has worked extensively as part of an expert team regarding delay and disruption disputes for energy, infrastructure and industrial projects. He has supported clients and assisted with expert reports for both arbitration and adjudication proceedings with disputed values of more than US$200 million.
Paraskevas is experienced as a site engineer and civil engineer, including working for one of the biggest energy companies in the world on their development of a new nuclear power plant. He has worked on major and iconic projects across the Middle East and Africa including hospitals, airports, power stations and pipelines.
Paraskevas specialises in forensic construction programming, project advisory and dispute resolution. His expertise includes critical path analysis and the causes and extent of delay, for which he draws on his hands-on project experience.
Paraskevas holds master’s degrees in civil engineering, earthquake engineering with disaster management, and construction economics and management. He is a member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and is fluent in both English and Greek.
