Bob has acted as expert witness for disputes across North America, South America, Asia and Australia and has provided expert testimony in litigation, adjudication and international arbitration. From acting as damages expert, providing testimony on numerous claims in excess of $2 billion heard before a dispute adjudication board (DAB) for a major infrastructure project, to expert testimony in state court regarding cost to complete and false claims issues resulting in a multi-million-dollar jury verdict on a combined cycle power project; he is experienced across traditional and alternative dispute resolution methods.

Bob has provided claims management services for over 500 construction disputes totalling more than $3 billion in value. He specialises in the preparation and evaluation of claimed damages calculations and the determination of the financial impacts of delays and disruptions on projects from highways, hospitals and waste water plants to industrial facilities, major infrastructure schemes and power plants.

Bob gained hands-on industry experience as a senior cost engineer at a large engineering and architectural firm. He worked on numerous projects including a $400 million coal-fired power plant and a $100 million coal re-conversion plant. Bob assisted in the development and implementation of an integrated cost and schedule control system; he applied various project controls tools to maintain financial oversight of projects, their capital costs, cash-flow forecasts and financing requirements.

Bob has an MBA in finance and a BS degree in electrical engineering technology. He has authored numerous articles related to damages in construction disputes and has presented a wide range of topics to seminars across the US.  Clients say that Bob is regarded as “highly qualified in his respected field”; that he performs his work with “integrity”; and that he “delivers reasoned expert opinion”.
