William is a project controls and planning manager with over 20 years of engineering and construction industry experience. He has been appointed as an expert witness on six occasions in both delay and project management matters.

William has been cross-examined in international arbitration regarding delay and disruption for a major European power project. He has also provided expert reports and assessments for highways, railways and buildings projects across Europe and Australia, with disputed values of up to $20 million.

William built his expertise as a cost engineer and quality control engineer, working on high-speed rail and complex highways projects in Europe, as well as various megaproject around the world. As a consultant, he has participated in project reviews and supported projects with claims and strategic advice on behalf of owners, project managers and contractors across Africa, Australia, the Middle East and Russia.

William has a reputation for resolving issues on distressed projects and has successfully undertaken productivity-based disruption analyses on numerous projects. He assists clients in the preparation and defence of delay and disruption claims and specialises in the application of productivity-based disruption techniques.

William holds a degree in construction management and a post graduate diploma in construction law and practice. He is a member of the Society of Construction Law and provides training for project teams to help them to understand project risk and implement focused project controls.
