William Maloney

William Maloney is a Professional Engineer with over 25 years of experience. He has been appointed as an engineering expert or supported the named expert on numerous occasions.  

William has testified at depositions and performed hundreds of forensic investigations. He has written expert reports outlining the origin and cause of damages, along with preparing site and structural investigation reports detailing site descriptions, research, summaries of observations, and conclusions for insurance companies, attorneys, contractors, and owners. 

William has a variety of engineering and project management experience, having designed numerous transportation projects including interstates, state highways, county roads, and city streets. He has supervised the design and construction of engineering projects involving new construction, modifications to existing features, and damage repairs.   

William specializes in on-site structural investigations and forensic analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to determine the origin and cause of failure and the extent of damage and repair issues using engineering principles, methods, codes, and industry standards. His investigations have included roof inspections, building envelope and interior finishes, plan reviews, document reviews, and visual inspections of various building types. 

William holds a degree in civil engineering and is an Environmental Compliance Specialist and Well Control Expert. He is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers, the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, the International Code Council, and the National Society of Professional Engineers.
