HKA welcomes Director Leo Kalikstein to its Forensic Engineering practice in the Americas

HKA is pleased to welcome Director Leo Kalikstein to its Forensic Engineering team in the United States.
Leo is a professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in electrical, automation, and instrumentation and control (I&C) systems. His expertise encompasses the full lifecycle of electrical, automation, and I&C software project development deliverables, from initial piping and instrumentation diagram drafting, design, and specification to programming, construction, commissioning, and start-up.
Leo also leads technical investigations, providing expert analysis, reports, and testimony to resolve commercial and industrial disputes. He has addressed various forensic engineering issues related to design, implementation, programming, operation, maintenance, and the failure of instrumentation, control systems, and related equipment.

Leo’s industry experience includes designing and managing water treatment, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, renewable energy, mining, oil and gas, power generation, and chemical processing projects worldwide.

Before joining HKA, Leo was the Senior Manager of I&C Systems and the Lead I&C Engineer at Worley. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics, specializing in Electrical Engineering and Control Systems, from the Colorado School of Mines. Leo is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and an EnCase Certified Examiner.
