Ivette Chapman joins the firm as Director in the European Advisory, Claims and Commercial Management team.

HKA welcomes Ivette Chapman who joins as Director in the European Advisory, Claims and Commercial Management (ACCM) team based in the Netherlands.
Ivette has 25 years of hands-on experience leading and managing global multidisciplinary teams on major international capital and commercial projects across various energy companies, EPC organisations and consultant/vendor firms. She is a highly experienced project manager, commercial and contract manager, chartered industrial engineer, and she is also a member of the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn (Barrister n/p).
Ivette has extensive experience through all project phases from opportunity realisation to start-up (cradle-to-grave), with a combination of expertise in technical, non-technical, commercial and legal aspects of mega projects. She is highly proficient in drafting, negotiating and managing BOOT, FEED, EPC, EPCI, PMC, EPCM and EPCCM in different forms: FIDIC, NEC, IChemE etc., as well as bespoke contracts. Additionally, Ivette is very experienced in drafting and negotiating Joint Venture Agreements, Joint Study Agreements, MoUs, LOIs, Confidentially Agreements, TSA, TLA, CSA, Secondment Agreements, Land leasing agreements, etc. under various jurisdictions, for all types of onshore and offshore oil and gas projects.
Ivette is an experienced and effective team leader, strategist, deal maker and negotiator from opportunity realisation to the settlement of complex, technical and high–value projects, disputes and commercial deals.
Ivette has also received an outstanding award in the Oxford Women’s Leadership Programme.
