Can has acted as the lead assistant to the named expert in delay and disruption matters in various major disputes including arbitration and adjudication. He has assisted with expert reports and provided independent expert opinions to contractors and employers.

Can specialises in delay and disruption analysis, project management, and project controls. He has an in-depth knowledge of prospective and retrospective delay analysis methodologies, detailed critical paths, loss of productivity, and concurrency analysis.

Can has extensive experience in large-scale and complex construction projects, which include shopping malls, hotels and resorts, high-rise offices and residential buildings, healthcare facilities, industrial plants, nuclear power plants, airports, large-scale mixed-use developments, and rail projects. His background as a site engineer for leading main contractors has given him hands-on experience in construction, design, project scheduling, and project controls.

Can holds a master’s in construction law and arbitration and is a RICS certified expert witness. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Project Management Institute, the Academy of Experts, and the Society of Construction Law.
