James McCurry (Jim) is a Certified Public Accountant with over 30 years of experience advising on complex investigations, regulatory compliance, and disputes.

Jim has presented before the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Serious Fraud Office, and other global regulators on matters involving fraud detection, mitigation, and remediation. He has advised clients on disputes with values of over $1 billion.

Jim specializes in complex fraud investigations, compliance reviews, remediation, and supporting governments and multilateral institutions on matters including bribery, corruption, waste, and abuse. He has been responsible for the strategic direction and operational execution of large-scale, cross-border investigations and integrity programs across dozens of countries, including matters involving public-sector institutions, state-owned enterprises, and development-financed projects, often in high-risk or politically sensitive environments.

Background

Jim has experience serving public and privately held companies and holding leadership roles in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa. He has led global multidisciplinary teams, managed complex stakeholder relationships, and advised senior governance bodies on integrity risk and institutional response. His diverse client base includes life sciences, financial services, and consumer products.

Jim holds a master’s in finance and a degree in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants. Jim has been published in industry publications and speaks on topics relating to technology, fraud, bribery, and corruption.
