Kate Wood is a Partner and Chief People Officer with thirty-five plus years of global commercial professional services firms and cross-sector business experience with a proven track record of transformation with commercial and people success.

Kate is accountable for the group’s people strategy and its execution to improve and grow HKA, while providing a great place to work for our employees. She focuses on the firm’s people-centered priorities, including HKA’s Organizational Design, Culture, including equality, diversity and inclusion, Recruitment, People Policies and procedures, Learning and Development, Total Reward, Succession, Health and well-being, and Performance Management. Kate’s passion is for people and culture.

Kate is an experienced professional with a proven track record of developing and empowering global teams and high-performing cultures to deliver growth for the organization, built on a global career in human resources. She has a wealth of expertise in strategic people management initiatives and business transformation across professional consultancies and a variety of different business environments.

She works closely with our Board, the Executive Management Team, the Global Partner Team, the Global People Team, and employees to continue to improve and grow HKA. Kate reports to our Group CEO.

Before joining HKA, she was the  Chief People Officer for National Citizen Service, a Royal Charter Body, for three years; Global HR Director for PA Consulting Group for seven years; and Global HR Director for Cushman and Wakefield (formerly DTZ) for five years.

– Head of HR Marks and Spencer PLC and other senior roles for seventeen years.
