Loes has been involved in arbitration and litigation proceedings regarding competition and commercial damages in the Netherlands and the UK. She has produced sections of expert reports and assisted in preparation for cross-examination.

Loes specialises in disputes involving interchange fees, cartel damages, and abuse of dominance. She has expertise in qualitative and quantitative analysis. Her qualitative analysis includes market definition, theory of harm, infringement of competition law, and assessment of market dominance, and her quantitative analyses involve overcharge, pass-on, loss of profits, and interest calculations.
