Armando Chavez​

Armando Chavez has more than 25 years of experience in financial, economic, and litigation consulting. He has been retained as a testifying expert on damages in nine matters and has provided damages and valuation expertise in over 100 consulting engagements.

Armando has testified in litigation at federal and state court proceedings regarding patents and other complex business disputes. ​​In matters where he served as a testifying expert, he analysed complex financial records, quantified damages, and prepared expert reports in disputes involving damages claims with values up to the hundreds of millions of dollars​.

Armando has consulted in matters involving Fortune 500 corporations, multinational enterprises, and small to mid-sized businesses. His experience spans a broad range of industries, including consumer electronics, telecommunications, retail products, oil and gas, medical and pharmaceutical, sporting equipment, internet and software, healthcare, automotive, computer storage and networking, construction, financial services, chemical, advertising and entertainment, packaging, and semiconductors.

​​Armando’s expertise includes lost profits, reasonable royalties, unjust enrichment, cost of development, royalty payment reviews, business valuation, and technology valuation. He is frequently engaged in matters involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets, breach of contract, and the licensing and sale of intellectual property assets.

Armando is a certified valuation analyst (CVA) and master analyst in financial forensics (MAFF), both credentials awarded by the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA). He also holds a certificate of educational achievement in commercial damages and lost profits from NACVA. Armando is a member of NACVA and the Licensing Executives Society (LES).
