Edward Federico

Edward Federico is a delay and quantum expert with over 20 years of experience in the construction and engineering industries.

Edward has testified in federal court, delivered sworn depositions and presented in mediation proceedings. He has been engaged as an expert on damages matters in excess of US$13 million.

Edward’s experience includes clients or projects based in Europe and North America. He has worked on a variety of project types within the construction and engineering industries, including airports, buildings, industrial, infrastructure, transportation and oil and gas. He also has experience working on government contracts, as well as projects relating to the medical, sports and entertainment industries.

Edward is proficient in claims analysis, delay impact analysis and cost analysis. He has also provided project monitoring and management services for clients, as well as financial and contractual due diligence, intellectual property damages calculations and insurance claim support for policies including errors and omissions, and Subguard®. Further to this, he has performed civil and structural design for malls, airport terminals, train stations, churches and residential homes, and has worked with the US Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) performing inspection of damaged structures and retrofit design.

Edward holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering and is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Fundamental Engineer (FE). Some of the organizations that he is a member of include the American Bar Association (ABA), the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE), the New York Building Congress (NYBC) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
