Haris Katostaras is a Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 15 years of construction and engineering industry experience. He has been appointed as a delay expert on five occasions.

Haris has acted as an independent delay expert in adjudication and litigation and has contributed to expert reports for adjudication, arbitration, mediation, and litigation purposes. He has assisted the named expert on numerous occasions in relation to buildings, infrastructure and energy projects.
Haris has worked in general contracting and contract management for one of the largest contractors in the Middle East. He has also been involved in major and iconic projects throughout the North America, UK, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia including hospitals, rail projects, power stations, residential buildings and oil tank farms.
Haris has extensive experience in all prospective and retrospective critical path analysis techniques and specialises in delivering delay and disruption analysis and construction risk management to support clients in disputed matters. He is also familiar with the FIDIC, JCT and NEC types of contracts.
Haris holds a master’s in construction management and an MBA. He is a member of the American Association of Cost Engineers and an associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He is bilingual in English and Greek and has completed an advanced professional award in expert witness evidence.
