Tanner Courrier is a delay and damages expert with over 20 years of experience as a project manager and claims consultant assisting clients involved in complex construction and government contract disputes.
Tanner Courrier has a fantastic reputation for “representing his findings in a compelling manner” in court and is noted for his “exemplary work in CPM schedule analysis and damage modelling”.
Tanner has been engaged as an expert and drafted expert reports for construction disputes involving schedule delays and cost overruns. He has testified at deposition and arbitration and assisted clients with mediation and settlement negotiations.
Tanner has experience on projects throughout North America and has worked on projects in Asia and the Middle East. He has worked with clients from a variety of sectors including aerospace, commercial, defense, hospitality, industrial, infrastructure, oil and gas, power and utilities, residential, and technology.
Tanner has analyzed delays and cost overruns on a variety of projects including aircraft development programs, aircraft maintenance programs, condominiums, Department of Defense programs, Department of Energy facilities, and high voltage power transmission lines. Other projects where he has examined delays and cost overruns include highways and bridges, hospitals and healthcare facilities, hotels and resorts, military barracks, multi-family developments, nuclear waste remediation facilities, oil and gas projects, software development programs, and war zone construction projects.
Tanner prepares and analyzes claims arising from a variety of issues including delays, cost overruns, productivity loss, disruption, betterment, repair costs, force majeure events, design errors and omissions, environmental restrictions, and other impacts. He performs detailed CPM schedule analysis and cost analysis in both preparation and rebuttal of delay and damages claims.
Tanner Courrier holds a BS in Construction Management and an MBA with an emphasis in Accounting. He is a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Associate. He is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) International, a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and a member of the State Bar of Texas Construction Law Section.
