Maria will focus on the continued growth of the firm’s valuation, forensics, litigation, and investigations practices. She brings a wealth of experience to HKA, having led multiple forensic investigations in various industries, including non-profit, healthcare, retail and consumer, industrial manufacturing, and banking in the United States and abroad. Maria has a successful track record with commercial damages, intellectual property, fraud investigations, U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) monitorships, and local and global dispute services projects.

Maria is a PhD Economist and a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the United Kingdom. She has almost 20 years of global experience in Eastern and Western Europe, Central Asia, and the United States.
