HKA is pleased to announce that Partner Seyran Celik has been appointed to the Society of Construction Law (SCL) North American Board as the new Young Professional Liaison and Regional Director Support.

Seyran is a seasoned civil and geotechnical engineer with more than 18 years of industry experience and a track record as an engineering and construction expert in delay, quantum, and technical matters. She has been appointed both as a sole expert and as a key contributor within multi‑expert teams, delivering rigorous expert analysis and authoring multi-disciplinary, high‑impact deliverables for complex disputes involving projects in excess of $2 billion. Her experience spans international arbitration, litigation, and mediation, including providing sworn deposition testimony.

Her technical portfolio covers deep foundations, slope stabilization, ground improvement, and roadway design. She has been retained by contractors, owners, architecture and engineering firms, and law firms across the globe, valued for her ability to bridge technical detail with clear, defensible expert opinions.

Seyran has also collaborated with leading delay and quantum experts on multibillion-dollar nuclear, processing, oil and gas, power, transportation, and commercial developments throughout Australia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas—bringing a global perspective and multidisciplinary insight to some of the world’s most challenging engineering and construction disputes.

Seyran has been an active member of SCL, a multidisciplinary organization of international experts, attorneys, professors, engineers, arbitrators, and professionals engaged in the construction industry and dispute resolution for more than a decade, and has recently been appointed to serve as the regional director of the Florida chapter. SCL’s North American region promotes the collaboration and development of construction law through lectures, thought leadership, conferences, and research publications.
