Gary Atwal
Senior Data Scientist
London, United Kingdom

Gary Atwal joins HKA’s IT team as a Senior Data Scientist supporting enterprise AI deployment in HKA alongside developing the company’s Data and AI strategy.

Gary brings extensive experience across Generative AI, Data Science, and Finance, having previously worked with organizations including Citi, Saint-Gobain, ICF, and the Church of England, among others.


Abigail Ayoade
Consultant
London, United Kingdom

Abigail Ayoade is an ACA qualified accountant who began her career six years ago as an intern in financial services audit within the banking and capital markets sector at PwC, alongside her studies at the University of Nottingham. During this time, she gained experience across high-risk accounting areas, fraud focused audit procedures, and regulatory disputes – work that sparked her strong interest in forensic accounting.

She brings robust analytical and technical skills to the team, including experience in detailed recalculations, analyzing high volume datasets, and tracing financial flows across complex systems. Abigail also has strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, and particularly enjoys analytical work that involves piecing together financial evidence to deliver clear, well supported conclusions.


Ana Berrios
Expert Support Consultant
Tampa, United States

Ana Berrios is an Expert Support Consultant with HKA’s Forensic Technical Services team. She brings eight years of engineering experience, with a background in forensic engineering consulting and engineering design.

Ana assists with technical research, document review, engineering analysis, and the development of technical reports. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Central Florida.


Muqaddas Bibi
Accounts Receivable Specialist
Warrington, United Kingdom

Muqaddas Bibi joins HKA’s finance team as an Accounts Receivable Specialist.

Muqaddas successfully completed her AAT apprenticeship during the past four years at Jigsaw Homes Group. During this time, she gained valuable finance experience and developed strong organizational and teamwork skills.


Jennifer Brogan
Manager
Houston, United States

Jennifer Brogan is a Manager with over 16 years of experience in accounting, specializing in fraud investigations and forensic accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with expertise in data analysis, investigative procedures, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Jennifer has led complex investigations and forensic audits across a diverse range of industries, including higher education, government, tribal entities, and private sector organizations. Her experience also includes fraud risk assessments, compliance reviews, and evaluating large-scale funding and grant programs. She is recognized for her ability to deliver clear, well-supported findings that help clients mitigate risk, strengthen controls, and make informed decisions.


Joey Chim
Credit Controller
Warrington, United Kingdom

Joey Chim joined HKA’s Warrington Office as an Accounts Receivable Specialist and has since moved into a Credit Controller role.

Originally from Hong Kong, Joey brings over 13 years’ experience in billing and finance, including experience within a global organization, and is looking forward to applying her expertise to support the team.


Sarang Dev
Managing Consultant
London, United Kingdom

Sarang Dev joins HKA as a Managing Consultant in the delay team, bringing over nine years of experience across the construction industry. A qualified architect and Registered Architect with the Council of Architecture, India, he has worked across architectural design, site execution, project delivery, and delay analysis, with experience spanning the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.

Sarang has supported appointed delay experts on complex arbitration and advisory engagements across infrastructure, energy, aviation, data center, and high-end residential projects. His work includes critical path assessment, causation of delay, extent of delay analysis, and the preparation of expert reports. He holds a BSc in Architecture from Manipal University, India, an MSc in Project and Enterprise Management from University College London, and an Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence.


Laura Dever
Proposal Manager
Brisbane, Australia

Laura Dever has joined HKA’s Advisory stream as a Proposal Manager, with over five years of experience supporting bids, proposals, and commercial activities across the technology sector.

Laura’s background includes working closely with delivery, commercial, and procurement teams, coordinating inputs, managing tender processes, and supporting structured, strategic submissions. After a period supporting her family in the UAE, she returns to the workforce to help the APAC Advisory team on delivering clear, structured and well-organized proposals.


Lana Essawe
Associate Consultant
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Lana Essawe is a finance graduate from the University of Wollongong and began her professional career with HKA as an Intern, progressing into a full-time role. Lana supports forensic accounting and commercial damages (FACD) engagements, performing document review and financial analysis in support of forensic accounting and investigations, and contributing to the preparation of clear, evidence-based client deliverables.

Lana applies a disciplined and analytical approach to her work, with experience supporting FACD team in financial data analysis, document review, and reporting. She is detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering accurate and timely outputs while working effectively within the team.


Henrietta Gendler
CRM Coordinator, International
London, United Kingdom

Henrietta Gendler initially joined us in October 2025 as an Intern and was then offered a full-time position in April as CRM Coordinator, International with the Business Support Team.

Born in San Francisco, Henrietta grew up in the UK and studied Chemistry and Classics at the University of Bristol. She brings a keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills and is looking forward to learning and growing with HKA. Her interests include travel, music, theater, and horse riding, most recently playing polo at university.


Amy Hartman
Expert Support Consultant
Philadelphia, United States

Before joining HKA, Amy Hartman gained experience within the expert witness consulting industry, working closely with technical experts, attorneys, and stakeholders. Through this work, she developed a strong understanding of litigation support, project management, and the demands of complex consulting engagements.

Amy is currently enrolled in Penn State to pursue her bachelor’s degree in psychology with long-term aspirations of specializing in forensic psychology. Her academic interests include violence risk assessment, juvenile behavioral development, and the factors that contribute to criminal offending. Amy is also working to complete her project management certification through the Project Management Institute and is set to have it completed by Fall 2026. Drawing on Amy’s passion, she is excited to continue developing her expertise within the forensic consulting profession and is looking forward to building lasting relationships within the HKA community.


Haresh Kumar
Business Development Coordinator
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Haresh Kumar supports the construction, claims and expert (CCE) services team, working closely with colleagues across EMEA and APAC. He is responsible for market intelligence, opportunity research, and client and project tracking across major infrastructure, energy, and commercial developments.

Haresh’s role involves analyzing contractors, owners and advisory teams to support strategic pursuits, proposals and business development initiatives. Haresh holds a strong interest in construction disputes, claims and complex capital projects. He is a graduate of the University of Wollongong.


Lindy Lee
Assistant Financial Accountant
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Lindy Lee holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance and brings four years of experience from the non-profit sector, having previously worked for an NGO.

In her role at HKA, she supports the EMEA region as part of the finance team, applying her accounting and finance experience to support accurate reporting and day-to-day financial operations.


Daniel McCormack
Digital Content and Communications Manager
London, United Kingdom

As Digital Content and Communications Manager, Daniel McCormack supports HKA’s corporate communications team with digital content, video production, and multi-channel communications across the business.

Daniel worked at some of London’s largest media production houses before spending a decade developing video communications for a Big Four firm, becoming a founding member of the business’s broadcast studio, where he helped deliver recordings and live feeds to audiences worldwide. Daniel brings his experience in videography and multi-channel communications to the business.


Taya Molex
Research Manager
Pittsburgh, United States

Taya Molex brings over 20 years of experience in research and information services. She previously held research and talent intelligence roles at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), partnering with business leaders to deliver insights that supported strategic decisions, and spent nearly a decade at Spencer Stuart supporting the Boards and CEO, Technology, and Financial Services practices.

Taya holds an MBA from Loyola University Chicago, an MLIS from Dominican University, and a BS from Indiana University Bloomington. 


Annaya Moore
Business Support Administrator
Chicago, United States

Annaya Moore is a results-driven Executive Assistant and Office Manager with over eight years of experience in supporting C-Suite leadership and optimizing office operations in fast paced environments. She is known for streamlining processes, managing complex executive calendars and travel, and creating efficient, well-run workplaces.

She holds a degree in journalism from the University of Tennessee, where she also was involved with the prestigious well known Lady Volunteer basketball program. She takes pride in consistently enhancing organizational effectiveness and executive support wherever she goes.


Noah Péloquin
Co-Op Student
Montreal, Canada

Noah Péloquin joins HKA as a Summer Intern in the construction, claims and expert (CCE) services team in Montreal, bringing a strong interest in project analysis, cost and schedule management, and dispute resolution within the construction and engineering sectors.

Noah has gained hands-on experience supporting engineering teams through technical documentation, data analysis, and the development of automated tools using Excel and VBA.


Ohan Sabbagh
Managing Consultant
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Ohan Sabbagh has over 13 years of experience in the construction industry, with expertise in commercial management, quantum analysis, claims preparation, and contract administration across high-profile projects throughout the Middle East and North Africa. At HKA, he supports the delivery of quantum and commercial analysis on construction and infrastructure disputes across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Ohan’s technical strengths include the preparation, review, and assessment of construction claims, the valuation of variations and works executed, and the structured investigation of contractor entitlement. He has practical experience interpreting FIDIC contract conditions, reviewing project records and contemporaneous evidence, and analyzing contract evolution and design changes. In previous roles in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, he led tendering and estimation teams of up to 15 quantity surveyors, managing techno-commercial offers averaging approximately $1.5 billion per annum.


Alun Thomas
Microsoft 365 Specialist
London, United Kingdom

Alun Thomas brings several years of experience working across Microsoft technologies, with a particular focus on collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive. He has supported organizations in moving away from legacy platforms towards modern, cloud based ways of working.

Most recently, Alun has led Microsoft 365 strategy and delivery, with a strong emphasis on governance, security, and ensuring that tools genuinely support users in their day-to-day work. He enjoys bridging the gap between technical capability and practical business use, helping teams get the most out of the platform.


Lewis Wilson
Manager
Houston, United States

Prior to joining HKA, Lewis Wilson served as a manager at an economic advisory firm with nine years of experience specializing in commercial and intellectual property damages.

His work has included the analysis and quantification of complex economic and financial issues across a range of disputes. Lewis holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in economics. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA). He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).


Karen Werres
Senior Business Support Administrator
Houston, United States

Karen Werres brings over 25 years of experience as an executive assistant and staff accounting with 15 of those years supporting an energy risk consulting, risk management and loss assessment company in the oil and gas industry.

Achieving a Summa Cum Laude associate’s degree in legal assistant with a minor in accounting sparked Karen’s interest in a top-level supportive role utilizing both areas of expertise.
