Alan Whitman is the Chairman of HKA, appointed in July 2025. He brings a distinguished track record of leadership in the professional services sector. As the former CEO and Chairman of Baker Tilly US, Alan led the firm through a period of exceptional growth, significantly increasing its revenue and expanding its national and global footprint.
At HKA, Alan offers strategic oversight and governance, collaborating closely with the Executive Leadership Team to guide the firm’s continued growth and innovation. His expertise in driving organic and inorganic growth, building scale, and navigating transformation makes him an invaluable addition to HKA’s leadership.
Alan is deeply committed to helping clients navigate complexity and achieve differentiated outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Indiana University Bloomington.
