Cameron Poth is an economic damages expert with nearly 20 years of experience evaluating financial and economic damages in connection with complex commercial disputes. He has provided expert testimony on more than 20 occasions, including matters with damages claims in excess of $60 million.

Cameron has consulted with clients in various industries on a variety of dispute resolution matters, including breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, business interruption, dealer termination, estate and trust disputes, bankruptcy matters, financial forensic investigations, fraudulent transfers, alter ego, intellectual property infringement, oil and gas disputes, personal injury claims, construction disputes, and white-collar fraud investigations.

Cameron has performed various financial services for clients, including financial analysis, funds tracing, financial investigations, and oil and gas royalty examinations. He has conducted numerous financial investigations of companies and has extensive experience analyzing company financial records, including bank statements, financial statements, general ledgers, and tax returns.

Background

Cameron’s professional experience includes litigation consulting, forensic accounting, and economic damages analysis. Prior to joining HKA, he worked at an international consulting firm, where he advised clients and counsel on complex commercial disputes and financial investigations.

Cameron is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential. He holds a bachelor of business administration in finance and a master of science in accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
