Chris Pedersen is an experienced commercial, contracts, and claims manager with over 45 years of experience in strategic contracting, commercial,  claims, and legal procedures.

Chris has notable experience in proposals, contract formulation, negotiation, and administration on major projects in the oil and gas, civil engineering, and heavy process engineering industries. He has extensive experience in change management and resolution of contentious issues with the responsibility for developing strategies and for driving completion of work to an agreed  schedule and budget. His  strong background in contract law, contract analysis, and change management of high-value complex projects is used by the major oil & gas operators and contractors to achieve optimal commercial success. This experience is augmented by a strong positive approach to project and contract management together with an advanced understanding of risk, liability, and performance issues.

Chris has extensive experience in managing globally mobile teams and business units with responsibility for developing resources, improving commercial outturn, and net profit, together with formulation and implementation of management procedures.

Chris holds an MA in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution practice and is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Chartered Institution of Arbitrators (CIArb). He has also acted as a peer reviewer and interviewer for RICS and CIArb Fellowship applications.
