Graeme Cole is a quantity surveyor with over 25 years of experience. He has been appointed as a quantum expert seven times and has supported the named expert on over 30 occasions.

Graeme has testified at arbitration and provided deposition testimony in the United States regarding residential construction and property damage matters. He has prepared multiple expert reports on disputes with values of up to $20 million.

Graeme has expertise in conducting forensic cost analyses, reviewing claims and counterclaims, assessing damages, evaluating cost overruns, and performing project audits. His expert appointments have involved the valuation, estimating, damage assessment, and reconstruction costing of more than 150 custom and luxury residential properties throughout the United States.

Background

Graeme has prior experience in cost engineering, contract administration, project audits, planning and scheduling, and insurance claims. His projects include onshore and offshore oil and gas, petrochemicals, renewable energy, nuclear power stations, power transmission and distribution, water treatment plants, airport taxiways, roads and highways, commercial and residential buildings, and sports and leisure facilities in Brazil, Canada, Spain, the United States, the United Kingdom, and West Africa.

Graeme holds a degree in quantity surveying and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. He is a member of the Society of Construction Law in North America, the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
