Iryna has a background in electrical engineering with project management and dispute experience across various international projects, including buildings, medical facilities, power (hydro, geothermal, gas-fired, combined-cycle gas turbine), transport infrastructure, oil and gas, refining plants, and manufacturing facilities. She teaches international arbitration with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has been nominated for a prestigious Middle East Consultant Award in the category ‘Women in Construction – Professional of the Year’.
Iryna is dual-qualified with a degree in electrical engineering and a master’s in construction law and dispute resolution. She is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and sits as an arbitrator in construction and property disputes. Iryna is a panel member of the UK Adjudicators, a member of the steering committee for ICC UAE (Commission on Arbitration and ADR) and sits on advisory boards for the American University and British University in Dubai. She is also a member of the Society of Construction Law, the International Chamber of Commerce (UAE), the Arbitrator Intelligence, the Caspian Arbitration Society, Equal Representation in Arbitration Pledge (ERA Pledge) Middle East Sub-Committee, and Equal Representation for Expert Witnesses Pledge (ERE Pledge) Middle East Committee.
