Expertise
Joshua Jones has nearly 10 years of experience in construction programming and planning. He has been appointed as a delay expert and supported the named expert on more than 10 occasions.
Joshua has acted as an expert in a renewable energy dispute and as a lead assistant in matters of domestic and international arbitration and litigation across Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Qatar. He has prepared expert reports on disputes with values of up to AUS$150 million.
Joshua specialises in delay and disruption analysis, focusing on establishing causation between project events and their impact on time and productivity. He has expertise in leading forensic investigations of project records and in evaluating extension-of-time and disruption matters using time impact analysis, time slice windows analysis, and as-planned versus as-built windows analysis.
Background
Joshua has experience in providing programming and planning services, including the development and accurate updates of works on-site, critical interfaces between trades, and the development of notices under the contract, claims, and defence against claims. He has worked across a variety of industries, including health, rail infrastructure, mineral processing plants, and correctional facilities.
Joshua holds a degree in engineering (mechatronics) and is working towards a master’s in construction law and practice. He is a member of the Society of Construction Law Australia.
