Kamyar’s experience includes hands-on involvement with complex and challenging design and construction disputes including delays and acceleration issues, design modifications, defective specifications, scope disputes, loss of productivity and disruptions, evaluation of entitlement, standard of care and best practices, quantification of damages, and administration of contracts. Background

Kamyar has an extensive background in representing a Fortune 500 mechanical contractor as in-house claims consultant for both affirmative and defensive matters, including negotiations and amicable settlements. He has also served as an onsite claims consultant representing a consortium of international general contractors for the construction of a $1.5 billion liquified natural gas re-gasification plant in Baja, Mexico. Kamyar has worked on a variety of high-profile projects across North America, South America and the Middle East related to power generation, oil and gas, industrial, manufacturing, infrastructure, transportation, and buildings.

Kamyar is a project management professional (PMP) and a certified cost professional (CCP). He is a member of the Project Management Institute and the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International. He has authored and presented papers on windows delay analysis and has significant experience in project management and claims consulting training and mentorship.
