Background
Macarena has worked for owners, contractors, engineering consultants, litigants and courts across development, construction and dispute resolution disciplines. Her prior engagements include a range of power projects from hydroelectric plants, thermoelectric plants, and geothermal and nuclear power stations to wind farms, solar power plants, substations and transmission lines; roadways construction; large marine facilities; metro, rail and airport transportation; hospital, residential, office and hotel buildings; construction of operational facilities for the mining sector; as well as a pulp mill (cellulose plant) and oil refineries.
Macarena is member of the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering International, The Guild of Project Controls and the Society of Construction Law. She is also a member of the Sociedad Chilena del Derecho de la Construcción, the Chilean Association of Engineers and the Project Management College of Scheduling. Macarena is bilingual and supports clients in both Spanish and English.
