Nisreen Bitar-Wall has over 15 years of experience in project planning, management, and dispute resolution. She has been appointed as a construction delay and disruption expert during the pre-dispute stage and supported the named expert on several occasions.
Nisreen has acted as an expert regarding programming, delay, and disruption matters during the pre-dispute stage and supported experts in arbitration and litigation proceedings. She has prepared expert reports for international arbitration (including ICC), litigation (including the Technology and Construction Court in London), and adjudication, supporting clients regarding major engineering, procurement, and construction projects across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
Nisreen specialises in analysing complex programmes and highly detailed, technically complex project data to identify key drivers of delay. She has expertise in forensic schedule analysis using both dynamic and static methodologies, along with the preparation and evaluation of claims.
Background
Nisreen has been involved in a wide range of projects across various industries from power plants (combined-cycle gas, renewable energy and wind farms), marine, oil and gas and strategic electrical connectors to infrastructure (bridges and rail), health, and commercial, and residential buildings. She has worked on a variety of construction contracts, including FIDIC, JCT, and NEC.
Nisreen is dual qualified and holds a degree in civil engineering and a master’s in both construction management and construction law and dispute resolution. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Society of Construction Law, and a graduated member of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
