Xiaoye Ye has over ten years of experience in the construction industry. She has been appointed as a quantum expert and assisted the named quantum expert on ten occasions.

Xiaoye has acted as an expert in a French litigation case and as a lead assistant in various international arbitration disputes.  She has assisted with expert reports and cross-examination strategies on disputed projects with values of up to €400 million.

Xiaoye specialises in quantifying prolongation costs, disruption, and variations on complex construction projects. She has expertise in analysing large volumes of data to identify patterns, gaps, and inconsistencies and preparing alternative scenario analyses to assess risks.

Background

Xiaoye has experience in contract and commercial management services from pre-contractual negotiation to the post-contractual phase, with a particular emphasis within the nuclear sector.  She has delivered projects across a wide range of construction sectors, including industrial, marine, power plants, nuclear, and oil and gas.

Xiaoye holds a master’s degree in both construction law and arbitration and finance. She holds an advanced professional award in expert witness evidence and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
