HKA is pleased to announce the appointment of David Satchell as a Principal and Technical Expert in Structural Engineering within its Forensic Technical Services (FTS) International team. Based in Australia, David brings over 30 years of global experience in structural engineering, technical advisory, and expert witness services.

David’s career spans landmark projects including the Wembley National Stadium in London, Wynn Palace in Macau, and major building and infrastructure developments in Vietnam and Australia. His expertise in complex structural systems and his ability to bridge technical excellence with legal and dispute contexts make him a valuable addition to HKA’s global expert witness offering.

David has acted as a technical expert on many disputes and has given written and oral evidence at international arbitrations, including as a consultant for HKA.

David holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Masters in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Adelaide and is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia. David is also a member of The Academy of Experts in the UK.
