David is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 30 years of experience providing forensic accounting services in complex dispute settings. Since beginning his forensic practice in 1992, he has worked with counsel across all stages of the litigation process, delivering objective financial analysis and expert witness testimony in matters involving forensic investigations, economic damages, and business valuation. His work spans a broad range of industries, from emerging businesses to Fortune 100 companies.  

David has been retained as an expert on more than 250 occasions and is widely recognized for his ability to present clear, defensible forensic findings under cross‑examination. His experience includes providing expert testimony in state and federal courts and in alternative dispute forums, where his analyses have addressed financial issues involving claims with disputed values in the hundreds of millions of dollars.

David regularly serves in independent roles requiring objectivity and technical judgment, including appointments as a neutral accountant in post‑acquisition and valuation‑related disputes. He is also an instructor for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) expert witness skills program and holds multiple professional credentials supporting his forensic practice, including Certified in Financial Forensics and Accredited in Business Valuation by the AICPA, and Certified Fraud Examiner by the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. His forensic accounting expertise has been recognized by leading professional organizations and publications, including Lexology Index, and he was named by Forbes as one of America’s Top CPAs for Valuation in 2025.
