HKA is pleased to announce that Erin Fallon has joined the firm as a Partner in Pittsburgh. Her appointment highlights HKA’s commitment to bringing in highly regarded industry expertise and strengthening its capabilities across the full lifecycle of construction and engineering disputes.

Erin has more than 20 years of experience as a construction consultant, advising clients across the engineering and construction industries on complex claims, disputes, and project challenges. She works with a broad and diverse client base across the industry, including owners, contractors, subcontractors, insurers, design professionals, and legal counsel. 

Erin is a seasoned scheduling and damages expert specializing in analyzing project delay and disruption, quantifying associated cost impacts, and evaluating issues such as loss of productivity and project management standard of care. She evaluates change orders and requests for equitable adjustment, and calculates damages associated with acceleration, termination, and cost overruns, applying a balanced approach to the assessment and resolution of complex claims. 

She has served as a scheduling and damages expert in matters before US courts and arbitral forums, preparing expert reports and providing expert testimony in depositions and arbitrations on complex delay and cost claims, while helping clients assess risk and resolve disputes.

Erin’s project experience spans a wide range of sectors, including buildings, transportation infrastructure, power and utilities, industrial and manufacturing, and oil and gas, with work on residential and commercial developments, major infrastructure, power generation facilities, and water and wastewater systems.

Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and is a Certified Cost Professional (CCP) and Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP). She is a Fellow of the Project Management College of Scheduling (PMCOS) and serves as a Director of the American Association of Cost Engineers (AACE) Pittsburgh Section.
