About Emma Humphreys

Emma is a supply chain management specialist with a proven track record of uplifting client’s supply chains across the transport and water sectors. She has 12 years of experience delivering complex procurements for major projects, including developing procurement strategies, drafting specifications, managing transactions, and leading contract and supplier management programs.

Emma specialises in supply chain optimisation, focusing on market engagement, supplier management and risk mitigation. She led the establishment of Sydney Water’s inaugural supplier management operating model, implementing Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Supplier Performance Management (SPM) for Sydney Water’s most important suppliers.

Before relocating to Australia, Emma played a pivotal role in managing the development and implementation of Transport for London’s (TfL) SRM program, overseeing relationships across 64 key suppliers responsible for c. £4.5bn of annual third-party spend. Emma was instrumental in managing TfL’s supply chain response to the Covid-19 pandemic, ensuring critical operations were supported. She led the organisation’s supply chain strategy upon the UK’s exit from the European Union, which included mapping critical supply chains and implementing a company-wide commercial risk management framework.
