Renny Borhan to become Strategic Adviser to the Board, supporting a planned leadership transition and the firm’s next phase of growth

HKA, a leading global consultancy in dispute resolution, expert witness services, litigation support, and risk mitigation, today announced the appointment of Steve Culp as Chief Executive Officer, effective 22 June 2026. Renny Borhan will move into the non-executive role of Strategic Adviser to the Board and will remain closely involved in supporting the leadership transition and the firm’s continued development.

As one of HKA’s founders, Renny has played a significant role in building the firm into the strong, profitable, and internationally respected business it is today. Under his leadership, HKA has expanded in scale, capability, and geographic reach, while maintaining a clear focus on its people, clients, and the quality of its work.

Steve brings senior leadership experience from Accenture, where he served as Senior Managing Director and Global Risk Lead. He draws on more than 30 years of experience advising global organizations on strategy, finance, risk management, and large-scale transformation. He has worked extensively across the US, Europe and Asia and is known for his focus on people, strong teams, and client service.

This planned transition reflects the strength of HKA’s business and its confidence in the opportunities ahead. Together, Steve’s leadership experience and Renny’s deep knowledge of the firm will support clients and colleagues while positioning HKA for its next stage of growth.
