HKA strengthens Government Contracting practice with acquisition of RKI

HKA is pleased to announce the acquisition of RKI, a US government contract accounting and compliance practice focused on helping federal contractors and organizations receiving federal funding navigate extensive regulatory, audit, and financial management requirements.

The acquisition strengthens HKA’s Government Contracting practice and adds specialist expertise in US government contract accounting and compliance related to FAR, CAS, and DFARS compliance; DCAA and DCMA audit support; business systems and internal controls; indirect cost rates; incurred cost submissions; outsourced internal audit; undefinitized contract actions; requests for equitable adjustment; terminations for convenience; and expert testimony.

Ryan Koenitzer joins HKA as Partner, together with Sokhar Chan as Managing Director, and Michael McDaniel and Reuben Jacobson as Directors. The team brings deep experience advising government contractors on accounting, compliance, audit, and dispute-related matters across a range of sectors.
