HKA is pleased to announce the appointment of Nisreen Bitar-Wall as Director within the Construction, Claims and Expert (CCE) Services practice in Dubai.
Nisreen brings over 16 years of experience in project planning, management, and dispute resolution to the role. She joins HKA from FTI Consulting, where she served as a Director in the company’s Dubai office. Prior to this, she spent a decade in London, deploying her extensive understanding of planning and scheduling techniques in the production of forensic delay analysis, advisory reports, and delay expert reports for adjudication, international arbitration, and litigation in the Commercial Court and the Technology and Construction Court (TCC).
Nisreen is well regarded for her deep understanding of forensic delay analysis techniques and her ability to distill complex problems into clear key issues. Her portfolio encompasses major engineering, procurement, and construction projects in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
HKA represents an exciting next chapter for me, given its standing in the dispute resolution sector, the calibre of its people, and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution within the construction team. I’m looking forward to working alongside such a highly regarded group and helping deliver exceptional outcomes for clients.
A Graduated Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE), and a Member of the Charted Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and the Society of Construction Law (SCL), Nisreen has extensive experience in the power & energy sector on projects including combined cycle power plants, renewable power plants and wind farms. Her broader experience spans a variety of projects in the marine, oil & gas, infrastructure, manufacturing and buildings sectors. Nisreen has worked with a wide range of construction contracts including FIDIC, JCT and NEC contracts.
Nisreen brings a strong combination of UK rigour and Middle East project experience to the team. Having worked with her previously, I know the standard of her delay analysis work, and she’s joining us at the right time as the regional pipeline continues to grow.
Nisreen holds an MSc in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution from King’s College London, an MSc in Construction Management from Brunel University London, and a BSc in civil engineering from Damascus University, as well as an Expert Witness Certificate from Cardiff University. She is fluent in English and a native Arabic speaker.
