New Managing Director Cameron Poth expands HKA’s reach in financial investigations and commercial disputes
HKA has strengthened its Forensic Accounting and Investigations practice with the addition of Cameron Poth as Managing Director in Dallas. With more than 19 years of experience conducting financial and economic damages evaluations for complex commercial disputes.
HKA is pleased to announce that Cameron Poth has joined its Forensic Accounting and Investigations team as a Managing Director in Dallas.
Cameron has over 19 years of experience conducting financial and economic damages evaluations for complex commercial disputes. He specializes in financial analysis and forensics, supporting clients on a wide range of dispute resolution matters, including breach of contract, business interruption, and financial forensic investigations. Cameron’s work also includes engagements related to fraudulent transfers, construction disputes, intellectual property infringement, oil and gas disputes, estate and trust matters, and white-collar fraud investigations.
His expertise includes preparing and rebutting damages claims, analyzing financial records, and conducting oil and gas royalty examinations. He applies advanced financial modeling, financial statement analysis, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and business valuation principles to assess complex financial matters and support clients in making informed decisions.

Cameron has extensive expert witness experience, having prepared numerous expert reports and provided deposition, trial, and arbitration testimony across a variety of commercial disputes. His testimony experience spans state and federal courts and leading arbitration forums, where he has rendered opinions involving economic damages, business losses, financial investigations, and other complex accounting and financial matters.

Cameron holds a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Dallas and Austin, respectively. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and is Certified in Financial Forensics.
