HKA

“At HKA, our people care deeply about helping to alleviate poverty, combat disease, improve mental health and support lifelong learning, whether that is through volunteering hours, fund raising or making donations. We are proud to support such a wide range of charities from global to local across our network of offices.”

Jonathan O’Neill, Director, Global Community Impact Team Lead
For Mandela Day 2024, our Johannesburg team held a Career Day at the New Jerusalem Children’s Home. We also donated school and sports supplies for the children’s educational and physical needs, as well as appliances to help the running of the home.

We recognise the power of investing in our communities and actively getting involved in local charity initiatives to help alleviate poverty, combat disease, improve mental health and support lifelong learning by spending our time and sharing our expertise and experience to help develop and mentor others.

Our Community Impact Team (CIT) champions this commitment, driving strategic initiatives, setting goals, and launching programmes that create lasting change.

HKA develops our CIT objectives based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) UNSDG 1: No Poverty, UNSDG 3: Good Health & Wellbeing and UNSDG 4: Quality Education.

We proudly support various global and regional charities, initiatives and causes annually. They include, but are not limited to:

  • World Mental Health Day (Global)
  • The Othandweni Family Care Centre (South Africa)
  • American Heart Association (USA)
  • London Legal Walk (UK)
  • MANNA (USA)
  • Senses Residential and Day Care for Special Needs (UAE)
  • Orkids (Malaysia)
  • Pass it on Clothing Co. (Australia)
