Fabian Lim​

Fabian Lim is a quantity surveyor with over 10 years of experience. He has been appointed as a quantum expert on three occasions and has supported the named expert 29 times.

Fabian has provided oral testimony under the HKIAC and has been appointed as an expert on SIAC and VIAC arbitrations. He regularly leads teams to assist testifying experts on complex litigation and arbitration disputes under various jurisdictions.​ Fabian has prepared numerous expert reports on disputes with values of over $300 million.

Fabian has provided commercial advice to various clients spanning the building, oil and gas, energy, and infrastructure sectors. His project experience covers Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Egypt, Sudan, Oman, Qatar, Dubai, and Jordan.

Fabian specialises in contract management, construction claims, and dispute management. His expert appointments include providing contractual and quantum opinion on prolongation costs, overheads and profit and various other cost claims arising out of a delay in the construction of a railway project in Vietnam; a residential development in Singapore; and a residential and hospitality development in Thailand.

Fabian is dual qualified with a master’s in oil, gas and renewable energy law and a degree in quantity surveying. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Society of Construction Law Singapore and an associate member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators, and the Energy Institute. Fabian currently serves as CPD committee for the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.

Nurul Sabri​

Nurul Sabri is a quantity surveyor with over 15 years of experience. She has assisted the named quantum expert on seven occasions. 

Nurul has acted as lead assistant and assistant to the named experts on international arbitration and adjudication proceedings across various sectors throughout the Middle East and Africa. She has produced expert reports on disputes with values of up to $100 million.​  

Nurul has experience in a wide range of projects employing various forms of contract, particularly the FIDIC suite and bespoke forms. She has been involved in many large-scale and complex projects across various sectors throughout the Middle East, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

She is a RICS registered expert witness and a Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre accredited tribunal secretary. Nurul is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, an associate member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors.  

David Michaelis

David Michaelis is a civil engineer with over 40 years of experience. He has been appointed as a quantum and construction expert. 

David has delivered expert reports for commercial litigation and alternate dispute resolution. He has supported legal counsels regarding a variety of construction disputes with project values of up to $3 billion.   

David has a broad range of construction experience in change management, project controls, estimating, project management, and engineering with an emphasis on self-perform, lump sum, and design-build projects. He has on-site experience (having delivered schemes involving bridges, specialist buildings, and a hydroelectric powerhouse) and has provided estimating services on civil, industrial, and oil and gas projects. 

David specializes in the review of project management and cost of changes on construction projects. He has supported a range of clients on disputes for a bridge across the Hudson River, a US Embassy in Africa, and a residential development in California.  

David holds a master’s in civil engineering and is a Professional Engineer (Oregon). He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Project Management Institute.  

Corrinne McLeish

Corrinne McLeish is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 20 years of experience, including the last eight years spent in dispute resolution. She has been appointed as a quantum expert six times and has assisted the named expert on over 30 occasions.  

Corrinne has been involved in arbitration, adjudication, litigation, and mediation proceedings. She has acted as lead assistant on projects with disputed values of up to £197 million.  

Corrinne has live project experience in all aspects of commercial and contract management, which includes internal and external reporting of progress against contract, preparation of fully substantiated interim and final account submissions, reporting of site delays incurred, procurement of subcontractors, and valuation of variations. She has worked with building contractors, main contractors, and rail infrastructure providers across the buildings, transportation infrastructure, and power and utilities sectors.  

Corrinne specialises in construction quantum expert witness services and is widely experienced in UK statutory adjudication. She has expertise in commercial and contract management, including internal and external progress reporting, preparation of substantiated interim and final account submissions, site delay reporting, subcontractor procurement, and valuation of variations and compensation events.  

Corrinne holds a master’s in construction law, arbitration, and adjudication, along with a legal experience training advanced professional award in expert witness evidence. She is a fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) and the Adjudication Society, and a senior associate of the Academy of Experts. Corrinne is an active committee member of the CIArb Scotland Branch and an ambassador for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and RICS Inspire initiatives.  

​Kirsteen Cacchioli​

​​​​​​Kirsteen Cacchioli has over 20 years of experience in construction and engineering disputes. She has assisted the named quantum expert on more than ten occasions.

Kirsteen has acted as the lead assistant to the expert regarding quantum matters in adjudication, arbitration, and litigation. She has drafted expert reports and joint statements, including Scott Schedules to show areas of agreement and disagreement, attended meetings, and liaised with clients and legal teams.

Kirsteen is experienced in analysing documentation, preparing and understanding the contractual and legal matrix, and preparing reports and submissions in both claims and expert work. She gets quickly to the core of the relevant issue and provides focused and proactive assistance to the appointed expert. She effectively liaises between internal, client and legal teams to deliver a multi-disciplinary approach and utilises her drafting skills to present opinion in a clear and understandable way.

Kirsteen specialises in quantum expert support and the preparation and defence of claims and counterclaims. This includes the analysis and assessment of contractual obligations and requirements, contract and commercial reviews, and analysing costs. The expert appointments on which Kirsteen has assisted have included a major highways project in Europe, several cladding remediation schemes, a hospital project, a pier remediation scheme, and failed glazing on a commercial mixed-use development in Europe.

​Mark Boehm​

Mark Boehm is a construction professional with over 20 years of experience. He has assisted the named expert on ten occasions.

​Victor Ageev​

Victor Ageev is a project management professional with over ten years of experience. He has been appointed as both a quantum and a delay expert and has assisted the named expert on many occasions.

Victor has prepared evidence for use in adjudication proceedings in Australia under the security of payment legislation. He has led analysis and drafting in support of the named expert in domestic litigation in State Supreme Courts (VIC and WA), domestic arbitration (under ACICA), and international arbitration (ICC and SIAC) on matters with disputed values of up to ​$500 million.

Jess Chong

Jess Chong is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with nearly 20 years of experience. She has assisted the named expert on 24 occasions.  

Jess has assisted in the quantum assessment of disputes for international arbitration, adjudication, mediation, and litigation proceedings.  She has produced expert witness reports, attended evidentiary hearing with the named expert, and conducted cross-examination preparation.

Joshua Koh

Joshua Koh is a Certified Fraud Examiner approaching 15 years of experience.  He has assisted the named expert on numerous occasions. 

Joshua has determined economic damages in various matters related to commercial litigation, government contracts, construction, class actions, and bankruptcy.  He has experience across numerous large complex litigations, including multiple disputes with over $1 billion at issue.
