Al Brown, Chartered Engineer and European Engineer, has re-joined HKA’s forensic engineering, architecture and technical services (FTS) team as Principal to lead the team of fire engineering experts. 

Al is a Chartered Engineer with 37 years of experience in fire safety and industrial property risk engineering. He is a highly experience Expert Witness, having acted as a Technical Expert on more than 30 occasions. 

Al joined HKA in 2018, originally as a Technical Director, and after a period of two years consulting for HKA, he has now re-joined the firm as a Principal based out of the Glasgow office. Al continues to lead FTS’ fire engineering discipline, focusing on developing and expanding HKA’s existing team of 12 expert fire engineers.
