HeartKids is a not-for-profit organisation solely focused on supporting and advocating for all people impacted by childhood heart disease, one of Australia's largest causes of infant death. Their purpose is to make a real and lasting impact on the Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) community.
HeartKids seeks to give every child, teenager, and adult in Australia with congenital or childhood-acquired heart disease a fighting chance to live a long, healthy, and fulfilling life.
As part of the recent APAC Partner Conference in Bowral, NSW, our Partners and Leadership team enjoyed a fantastic team-building exercise as they participated in a charity bike build in support of HeartKids.
Working with the charity team-building experts from Corporate Challenge Events, our teams built five bikes for children currently providing support to their families as young carers.
Congratulations to all the teams, particularly Team 1 – Shamila Neelakandan, Phil Kienstra, Baoquing Zheng and Andy Hagan – who took out the bike-building competition.
