2023 Construction Law Foundations – Atlanta 

HKA looks forward to seeing you in Atlanta at the 2023 Construction Law Foundations program on November 2 and 3. Presented by the ABA Forum on Construction Law, this two-day continuing legal education program combines two of the Forum’s most popular regional programs on consecutive days – Fundamentals of Construction Law (for the legal angle) and Sticks & Bricks (for the technical piece).  

HKA’s Nathan Rosenker is speaking about Exterior Wall Systems with Ty Brown of Hawkins Parnell & Young, LLP on November 3 at 3:40 PM ET. They will discuss the material characteristics and design and construction principles of exterior wall systems assembly, as well as common problems that occur when these principles are violated. Their session also touches on the damage caused by exterior wall system failures and the legal consequence of such failure.  

HKA’s Larry Smith is presenting on HVAC/MEP with Connor Shankman of Bernstein Stein Shur on November 3 at 4:40  PM ET. They will cover heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and electrical and plumbing systems, as well as the potential property damage that can result from improper installation and operation and/or systems malfunction.  

The program is offered live in Atlanta, Philadelphia, St. Louis, and San Francisco and is taught by leading construction professionals and seasoned construction lawyers in each city.
