ABA Forum on Construction Law 2024 Annual Meeting

Partner Wayne DeFlaminis is co-presenting an informative plenary session, “The Use, Care and Feeding of Experts,” alongside Michael McKenna of Cohen Seglias and Andrew Ness of JAMS on April 13 at 10:15 AM CT. During their session, Wayne and his colleagues will provide advice on translating expert analysis into effective trial testimony and cross-examining the opposing expert witnesses.  

This year’s program – The Art & Science of Construction Litigation – features key insights from in-house counsel, musings on whether arbitration or litigation is the preferred method of dispute resolution, lessons learned from famous trials, and strategic methods for proving construction damages.

Wayne DeFlaminis is an internationally recognized delay, productivity, and cost expert. Wayne has provided litigation and arbitration testimony on topics such as CPM scheduling, delay analysis, lost productivity and delay damages, construction cost impacts, construction management principles, and construction finance issues. His prior experience includes construction management, plant management, and mechanical engineering design. 

Wayne has presented seminars and written articles for the American Bar Association, the Virginia State Bar and Virginia Bar Associations, the Construction Super Conference, the Florida Bar Construction Law Institute, and other well-known professional organizations. His consulting experience includes government and military facilities, nuclear facilities, oil production and processing plants, mass transit systems, airports, manufacturing and pharmaceutical facilities, highways and bridges, mixed-use residential, educational facilities, water and wastewater treatment plants, commercial real estate transactions, and IT implementation projects.
