HKA is excited to announce that Jeff DuVal, Partner and Co-lead of the Government Contracts Group at HKA; Stephanie Johns, Associate Director at HKA; and James Laurie, Corporate Counsel at ECC-Environmental Chemical Corporation, are leading the ACC NCR Government Contractors Roundtable: Request for Equitable Adjustments (REAs) and Claims on December 15, 2022 at 1:00 PM ET. They will cover when to prepare an REA or claim, the differences between the two, the information needed, and methods for properly pricing REAs. More specifically, the roundtable will include a discussion on pricing project delay, increased labor costs, loss of productivity, and strategies to increase the likelihood of success. The panelists will also discuss the decision making behind claims submittal and balancing business relationships in the wake of claims. Finally, they will share lessons learned from the challenges and issues they’ve faced. The 1-hour roundtable is being presented by the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) National Capital Region (NCR) and is available via webcast only.
